Can a 2 month old sleep with a blanket?
Babies change fast, so the answer depends on your child's age, weight and development, and on your product's instructions.
What the guidance says
- If you use sheets and blankets, tuck them in firmly no higher than shoulder height. One blanket doubled over counts as two.
- Always place your baby on their back to sleep, in the feet-to-foot position (feet at the bottom of the cot, Moses basket or pram).
- Avoid weighted swaddles, weighted blankets, weighted sleeping bags and sheepskins.
